This week we have been experiencing adverse weather conditions here at our corporate office in Redmond, WA. Due to unsafe driving conditions we temporarily may have limited live technical support available, as well as altered office hours of operation.
We have embarked on a new year and all of us here at Visible.net are looking forward to another ground-breaking year in 2009. After having ended 2008 with snowfall, flooding, rain storms and plenty of cold weather, it will be important for us to make up for lost time before winter comes to an end.
With a new year always comes new opportunities to change, exceed and excel towards past, current and future goals. We all have the opportunity to accomplish great things this year, so lets continue to work hard towards our goals this new year.
This month we are celebrating the the last month and holidays of the 2008 year. On Christmas Day, Dec. 25th (Thursday), our offices will be closed. We are also closed the following day, Dec. 26th (Friday). In January, Visible.net offices will be closed on New Years Day, Jan 1st. We encourage everyone at Visible.net to take this time to spend with family and friends. Visible.net management and administration hopes that all our valued employees have a wonderful December and a happy holiday season.
In addition, we hope each and every one of you had a good year in 2008 and wish you all a very good year in 2009, we are looking forward to many new announcements, the addition of new products and services and an overall better year than the one before. We also wish to thank everyone involved in the company this past year, no matter the position you hold.
It’s already November and the Holiday season is upon us. This month we celebrate Thanksgiving Day on Thursday November 27th. Our offices will be closed all day. Although many of us will be with our families on scheduled holiday time, we will be open on Friday November 28th. Everyone who is not already approved for the Friday after Thanksgiving is expected to work. We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and enjoys having the day to be with friends and family.

Visible.net is on the look out for creative ideas and story topics to include in our monthly newletters. We don’t want them to become boring to read or follow and you may be able to help. If you are currently a Visible.net employee, and have suggestions or article topics ideas, we want to hear from you. We are constantly looking for content to include in future newsletters, so please let us know and we will absolutely consider your input ideas for future issues.
Avid golfer? Work at Visible.net? Then join us for our inaugural golf event.
This coming Friday, August 15th, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. 20 participating Visible.net employees will be headed down to Newcastle Golf Club for the first ever annual employee golf tournament. We have the privilege of playing golf on one of the nicest courses in the greater Seattle area. There are 5 teams with 4 players per team. The tournament type will be scramble golf. We expect an afternoon of golf, food, refreshments, filled with plenty of fun and competition on the course. There will be prizes and bragging rights for closest to the pin and longest drive.
We have had some beautiful weather lately up here in the Inland Northwest region. We hope everyone (even those outside the Seattle area) gets the opportunity to get out and take advantage of some outdoor fun and recreation. We are also pleased to welcome aboard any new clients who recently joined on with Visible.net as their ecommerce or marketing services provider. We appreciate your business and look forward to a long, successful business relationship.
We hope each and every one of our staff members and valued clients have a wonderful Independence Day Holiday weekend! It’s great to finally have some summer like weather and especially the extended daylight hours after work so we can all spend more time enjoying the beauty and outdoors of the Northwest.
We have been welcoming aboard many new clients this month. As always we wish to thank our loyal customers and the staff members who work so hard each and every day to deliver quality services and support. Without our clients and our staff members, we wouldn’t be where we are today. Thank you!
Summer is upon us, we have a new corporate site, our 2008 company handbook is complete and our consultants continue on their mission to inform as many new or existing website owners as possible about our company, the services we provide and the goals we hope to accomplish this year and beyond.
It is the goal of Visible.net to develop and maintain a productive and enjoyable work place for all our employees. We ask that all of our staff members review and become familiar with our new handbook as there are many policies and procedures that have been updated from the 2007 handbook. We also ask that you keep your handbook well within reach so it’s easier to become more knowledgeable on the guidelines and benefits available to all Visible.net staff members.
